Drama again in the League Cup as The Town once again win the tie in the last minute of the match to set up a date with AFC Heathrow in the Final.
A game which was dominated from minute 1, the Hawks clearly far superior than Sudbury Court, however against the run of play it was the opponents who took the lead thanks to a slice of luck, captain Tom Simons misjudging a cross for the Sudbury Court striker to tap home unmarked at the back post.
From there, The Town kept on top. Patient pressure slowly told, early in the second half a backheel from Vava put Dieleme Gabriel through, his cross was deflected in to bring the youthful Hawks level.
Ethan Day saving the day for The Town with a free-kick goal from over 40 yards in the 93rd minute to prevent the oncoming penalty shoot-out and win the semi-final tie for The Town.
The scenes were incredible. FTFC heritage.
